General Information
East Asia Mart (Business ID: 2156076-0) acts as the seller of the products on this webshop. We deliver to Finland, the Baltic countries, and the Nordic countries. All product prices include value-added tax (VAT). We reserve the right to change prices and shipping fees.


Ordering
Products can be ordered primarily through our online store at www.east-asia-mart.eu via the shopping cart. After placing an order, a confirmation email will be sent showing the total price, delivery costs, and list of ordered items. A valid email address is required to confirm the order.

If the item you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you to offer a substitute or issue a refund.

Minimum order quantities may vary depending on the selected delivery method.


Order Confirmation
After your order has been placed, an email confirmation will be sent including the products ordered and the total amount.

Orders placed through the shopping cart must be paid immediately using one of the following services:

Delivery Time
Orders are dispatched on business days. Delivery typically takes 1–3 business days after payment, depending on bank processing times.


Delivery Methods and Costs
Customers may choose from the following delivery methods:

Posti Parcel (formerly SmartPost)
Posti Parcel Connect for deliveries to the Baltics and Nordic countries
Click & Collect: Pick up your order directly from our store.
More delivery options will be added soon.


Return and Exchange Policy (Updated)
Customers have a 14-day right to return or exchange products in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. This policy applies only to unused products in their original packaging and in resellable condition.

Returns via Posti Parcel Point are free of charge when using the return method provided by East Asia Mart.

Refunds will be issued after the returned items have been received and inspected.

⚠️ Please note: Failing to collect a parcel is not the same as returning it.

Claims regarding incorrect deliveries or defective items must be made within 14 days of receipt. If your parcel is damaged in transit, please file a damage report directly with the carrier (Posti) immediately.


🚨 Additional Terms to Protect Fair Use and Prevent Abuse
a) Delivery Refusal Clause
If a customer refuses delivery without a justified reason (e.g., incorrect or damaged item), East Asia Mart reserves the right to deduct return postage and handling fees from the refund.

b) Return Cost Liability for Uncollected or Refused Orders
Orders that are refused at delivery or remain uncollected from parcel lockers/post offices will be returned to East Asia Mart. In such cases, we reserve the right to deduct both the original delivery and return shipping costs from the refund, unless the refusal was due to our error.

c) Abuse Prevention Clause
We reserve the right to limit or reject returns from customers who repeatedly misuse the return policy or place unusually large return orders inconsistent with normal personal use.


Privacy and Confidentiality
East Asia Mart handles all customer data confidentially and does not share any information with third parties.
